Schools

SGI-UK`s national centre at Taplow Court has established relationships with a number of schools in the area. 

Schools regularly visit our centres. Teachers have planned activities, used the grounds, had a talk on Buddhism etc.

SGI-UK staff have also gone out to participate in activities in schools.  SGI-UK is part of an annual multi-faith forum in one school. In another SGI-UK has contributed 3-4 times in the year at various assemblies. 

SGI-UK staff have also developed projects with schools. One example was on the 100th anniversary of WW1, developing a history workshop exploring war from the angle of peace with actors.

In various parts of the country individual members have established relationships with their local schools.
